October 2009 ASA weekend Update;

LFA's Ace, Stephanie Shupe of MsStix threw 7 innings to hold a 5-4 lead and Sunny Dorhofer came in to plug the bottom of the 7th in the Championship game and defeated 16u Extreme at the ASA 16u FALL Northwest Championships.

It was a real pleasure to watch Fall Ball at the highest level last weekend. To see the MsStix battle in the Semi Final then go and win a close one in the Finals was fun to watch and see many proud parents there enjoying their players and the sport they love. Even with some bumps and bruises, all the girls hit well and fielded balls properly. Just good things happend. I look forward to watching this team grow and play some more.
